Programme I:
– A.) 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. B.) 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
– maximum 15 children
This programme follows the British Early Years’ curriculum, with some personal touches of Early Education in North America.
The ratio is 1 English-speaking adult per 4 children. The environment includes various centres that focus on particular areas of development, from Fine Motor Skills to introduction of Patterns and Designs to Creative Drama. The day has a routine to include work and play, with Music, Dance and Art as essential ingredients in daily activities.
Programme II:
– A.) 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. B.) 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
– maximum 10 children
This programme continues to follow the British Early Years’ curriculum, with OC’s copyrighted additions in the areas of personal development, culture and science.
The ratio is one English-speaking adult per 4 children. The environment is more structured academically than in the Nursery setting. Work time is defined with tables, chairs and books; directed play in centres is a daily part of the routine.
Programme III:
– A.) 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. B.) 5:15 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. C.) 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
– minimum of 4-week commitment
– maximum 6 per group (with adult native speakers)
This programme may be highly academic oral-based, with development of grammar and necessary vocabulary-building being identified through games, conversation, drama, music, dance, art. Children/adults may study stories/novels and present their original skits/theatre performances, based on these readings, for parents/peers.
